After more than 18 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial administration, our founder saw firsthand how many businesses struggled with disorganized records, inefficient systems, and costly errors that went unnoticed for years. From duplicated transactions to missed A/R payments, she uncovered thousands of dollars in errors and helped businesses regain control of their financial data.
Her passion for building better systems led her to design and implement a complete filing and bookkeeping structure for a construction company from the ground up, rebuilding workflows to be clear, efficient, and scalable. That experience shaped the foundation of The Back Office PEI: practical, organized, and tailored financial systems that actually work for real businesses.
